Special Olympics Suffolk is a ‘not for profit’ organisation.  

We do not have any paid staff – all of our work is undertaken by a group of brilliant local volunteers. 

All of our current fund raising is targeted at supporting our athletes and coaches to participate in the Special Olympics GB National Summer Games being re-scheduled for 2022, due the Covid-19. These Games are only held once every four years.

We hope to have a Suffolk contingent of 68 athletes and coaches participating at this event – it costs us £500 per delegate (Accommodation, Food, Travel, Training, Kit, Entries) – that’s £34,000 in total!

For most of our athletes, this event represents the pinnacle of their sporting efforts and ambitions over the last 4 years

Can you help us to help them to get to the SOGB National Summer Games in 2022?     

Any amount that you are able to donate will go directly towards supporting an athlete participate at the National Games.
