Ben is a bit of a thrill seeker who loves swimming and is currently taking sky diving lessons, considering the challenges he has faced throughout his life, he is one amazing individual. He has competed in a number of competitions where has also won medals.

Special Olympics Suffolk’s first Regional Badminton Competition took place this weekend at ONE Sixth Form College, Ipswich. A big well done to teams from Sutton Coldfield, Bournemouth & of course our own Special Olympics Suffolk Badminton team.

National Special Olympics Gymnastics Competition at Waveney Gymnastics Club
Waveney Gymnastics Club, in conjunction with Special Olympics Suffolk, hosted a National Special Olympics Gymnastics Competition which, in addition to the host club, attracted teams from across the country and from as far away as Jersey and Glasgow. In the days prior to the competition the club held a Gymnastics Camp which included specialist coaching across the range of disciplines including floor, rings, pommel, vault, beam, high bar, asymmetric and parallel bars.

Our SOS athletes had a great evening presenting the #SOGB pennant to Andy Ellis, who is the captain of the Suffolk Saxons.
